    Banners.spotbrokers.com announcement

    April 22, 2003, somewhere on the World Wide Web --

    Spotbrokers.com announces the release of Bannerclix! The innovative new way to buy and sell non-gallery traffic for paysites, tgps, AVS, any site in need of traffic in any quantity. As many of you are aware, we?ve been oversold on non-gallery traffic for quite some time now -- with the introduction of Bannerclix we will again be able to offer filtered, non-hitbot, clicked uniques at reasonable prices -- traffic that can be sent to paysite tours, tgps, you name it!!! We have added traffic in some categories we don't support in the gallery program like celeb to Bannerclix, making it the most flexible traffic flow system in the adult space.

    For sellers, Bannerclix can be used on any type of site; you simply substitute our code in place of any banner on the page, after collecting the unique code from the generator. Buyers then bid on banner clicks by category and GEOGRAPHIC region ? making this the obvious choice for site owners looking for specifically targeted traffic to suit their needs! There are very few limits on who can purchase traffic and what sites they can send it to, but please review the terms prior to purchase.

                          Some details..

                          Currently we only have 3 banner sizes active.. 468x60, 468x80 and 120x60 - they're the most common ones of course.

                          We have about 15 other sizes waiting in the wings, 6 of which will be activated within a week if all goes well.. (To activate a size, we need a few banners for every size and category, plus a paysite to send it to).

                          Categories, we don't have all of them in place yet.. I had to trim about 30 off the final product due to inadequate banners. If we don't have your category and you have or can provide a good affiliate program and a few banners for every size, we'll add the category.

                          EDIT: I should also point out that you upload your banners to us, there is no "generic" banners that we use, it's all your banners as the buyers. Our filler is just the banners from every big paysite program we could get to send us all their banners. ;>

                                      Geo targets allow you to specify where you want your traffic to come from. Different geo targets will have different bidding rates. <This is explained poorly. It should be rewritten by either you or me>

                                                                          When I was at CCBill I am sure I told you, just like I told other people that asked for things that we were contractually unable to provide without a court order, to go and get one.

                                                                          Of course it's been almost a year since I was at CCBill you know... and I still don't know that you ever proved anything other than your persistence in asking for something you were well aware of how to get.

While I no longer work at CCBill I do know that they have never failed to comply with a legal order to produce information, when signed by a judge.

                                                                                                                                              50% is the percentage. This is all completely new to us (and everyone), so that's what it is right now.

                                                                                                                                              At 50% interestingly enough, we JUST break even on the bandwidth at the minimum bid for the good regions, and lose money on the bad ones. ;>

I think it's pretty large for the 468s, like 40-50k..

                                                                                                                                                                                          one request for the future to have in mind and if possible to add.....

                                                                                                                                                                                          at least for the european countries the geotarget i believe should allow the buer to put a separate banner/link for each one of them. So we could work with german,italian,spanish etc banners and achive better results and higher CTR.

                                                                                                                                                                                              Yep I understand the problem - the issue is that doing that kind of screws up the whole system. It's a difficult algorithm, and having the countries overlap (as they would have to for individual countries) - makes things rough.

                                                                                                                                                                                              I've been thinking about a solution though and will continue to do so.
