How can a 50,000+ hits/day TGP make no bank?
I keep hearing from webmasters such as ZAHA that their 50,000+ hits a day TGPs aren't profitable. How can that be with low banwidth cost, 1,000s of sponsors hosted galleries, webmasters paying to list their galleries, thumbs and blink links, etc.?

A) You had to do all your trades by hand
and
B) Circle jerks and popups were frowned upon.
Now everyone and his sister has UCJ-C or one of the free scripts up on his "TGP". TGP traffic hasn't been great traffic in a long time, but these circle jerks are watering it down to the point of uselessness.

I used to make 5000$/month two years ago by submitting 2 galleries a day to 20 tgp...
Was hosted on freehosts with 2-3 sponsors per gallery !
I tried to post 5 galleries a day to 40+ tgps this year and hardly make 1500$
Paid hosting and 1 sponsor per gallery !
TGP are just bandwith suckers.
