Who do you admire?

Here's my top 10 in no certain order

1. Tim of UCJ for dominating the C script market.

2. Lane of CJultra for dominating the free trade script market.

3. The Buffet family for seeing the future and more than that still being so fucking cool and low profile.

4. The Hun not for the size of his site, he was just at the right place at the right time, but for the fact that he actually helps so many newbs and takes a stand against sponsors that lock surfers.

5. Madthumbs, even though he was not the first thumbnail preview TGP he took it to the next level.

6. Wayne and Lightning for dominating the free hosting market.

7. Sleazy for finding a unique niche and making it work.

8. Epoch for their innovative free 30 minute trial.

9. Lens for building the biggest webmaster BBS.

10. Anyone who can survive one year full time in this business and not loose his house or car.

I don't have 10 people I can think off the top of my head, but a few that stick out are:

Quiet - Creating so much without the use of affiliates, there's a lot of recognition that is owed for being this successful

JB/Mario at Traffic Cash - Showing me the ropes of this business and getting me started in search engine marketing in the adult industry

Lensman - One of the founders of the adult internet for making one of the most successful pay per click payment models

RogerV - Introducing new products, charging models and generally innovating good products in the adult industry

Epoch - Strong effort in developing ways of retaining and maximizing every member's worth

Sergei Brin / Larry Page - Without these two boys, I wouldn't be in business playing with the engines

It's all in perspective, I mean it's not like I would suck any of those people off. I don't look up to any of them as better than myself, but I ADMIRE what they have accomplished in their own field/niche. It is hard to stand out and accomplish more than your peers in this business simply because you have so many peers.

In no particular order...

Fantasyman
Oxcash and NastyDollars
Buffet
Mike Wylde
Quiet

The first 4 changed their particular segments of the industry or had enormous impacts. Some of them may no longer be the biggest or the best, but I don't care. ;)

Quiet as far as I know didn't, but to get 13k or 15k rebills (or whatever it is) with no affiliates is pretty impressive. I'm sure others have done it, but I don't know who they are.

There are a lot of people I admire for different reasons..

I admire Minte for being so down to earth and cool.

I admire Shemp for pretty much the same reasons, that and their helpfulness.

I admire guys like Unseenworld.. Their great work is part of what inspired me to get into this end of the business in the first place.

I admire anyone who has a dream and works to turn it into a reality. It's easy to quit, it's much harder to take the road less travelled.

There are so many more I have no idea where I would begin..those are just a few too..
