I've seen some people have luck on EbayMotors and possibly AutoTrader.com -
just put an ad in your newspaper, what car are you trying to sell? if it's a regular car it's ok, unless your selling an exotic car or classic car, other than that it's not wort shipping a civic to the other side of the country

I have sold a lot of cars and I find the best way to sell them is the citys main paper. Swap Sheets and local small town papers have never done well for me. The way the ad is written will bring the solid inquires as well.Originally posted by Turboface

How many miles are on it? Even with 100k on it the private party value is worth around 6k so your 5k asking price should have been an eye catcher for those in the TA/Camaro/Firebird crowd. Maybe the ad just isn't right. Let me know if you want some help.Comment

theres 150k on it but the blue book is $5100. i only got 1 call. i didnt list how many miles were on it either.I host with VacaresComment

Try autotrader.com. I listed my car there and it was sold 72 hours later. Or if there is a CarMax near you you can sell it to them without having to buy a car from them.
