Well, on his first and maybe last seizure or heart attack when he collapses on the floor in front of his wife and kids and then realise it may be the end of his life and existence and never see his love ones again.. I hope he does remember the harsh comments and how he should've taken care of his weight and health. But it's his own life.
He's what now? In his 30's? I guarantee, if he does not lose weight, in the next 5 years he's going to have serious health problems.
