He has been playing solo with a new band and also with his orchestra. I saw a couple times two years ago.

I go to his site and see if there is anything about him with the cats again

Bumped into Setzer in a hotel lobby in Branson, Missouri back in 1981-82. It was my 2nd ever "star gaze," Tony Danza was the first...LOL

Anyway, guy was alot bigger than I expected. I thought my brother was jerking me around, kept telling me he was in the lobby...my dad was checking us in. Anyway I came out of the game room walked around the corner and all I see is that big fucking stray cat tatoo on his shoulder...lol...I just stopped dead in my tracks.

My dad didn't know who it was, he kept telling me to stop staring at the weird guy...LOL.

Once Setzer realized he had been recognized (kinda hard not to) he got out of there as quickly as possible.

The Hootenanny rocks every year - or at least has since 1996 when I started going. And yes that includes the year when Chris Isaak headlined.

He 's a bit different now. I saw him twice two years ago. After the Reno show he was in the bar talking to his fans and eyeing women....

He looks about 5' 8 or shorter cause I was alot taller than him in my heels and I am 5' 9

But back in highschool when I saw him, I was even shorter...I didn't really have a good growth spurt until my junior year.

saw the stray cats with the bus boys way back in the day. Jim Phantom climbing on top of a base is a site to behold.
