    I got a vx2000 today

    This camera rocks, I was going to buy it online but most of the places are NYC and run by Jews and they are all on vaction so I called around locally. At hifi buys went back and forth with the manager first he said $2999.00 I got him to $2550 and that was with a 3yrs extended warranty. I got to take it home and dont have to worry about UPS punting it across the parking lot lol. Thanks for the info on this camera.

                  The video quality still amazes me everytime.


                  $2550 isn't too bad considering the extra 3 years warranty. I think I paid a couple hundred for an extended 5 year warranty on my D100.

                      got mine overnighted to me (via ebay). insurance replacement... dood gave it to me for $2000 and that was 2 years ago

                                      wide angle lens is a must, also make sure you get a glass lens.
