Try to get your index page down to 40k if possible. Then you can make larger pages but no much larger!!!

I tried this with ISDN modem and it is still loading while I write this and hasn't stopped until now. Damn this page is slow as shitSIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.Comment

I particularly like the part where you link to Netnanny and other Filter progs after you show every hardcore possible on your page already, even animated.
And the legal disclaimer on the bottom of the page is kind of useless too when you show everything you prohibit a 17 year old to seeSIG TOO BIG! Its not important how fast it loads on cable or DSL its how fast it loads on possible members computers. A lot still use 28k and 56k modems thats what you have to design for not cable or DSL.

We know it is a bit on the large side ( GFY ( GFY Webmaster Board > Fucking Around & Program Discussion ) is actually larger ( 290k )). We will probably end-up cutting the page in two or three pages in order to cater dial-up customers ( and AOL DSL ).
