Flash IS comming (50k a day can´t be wrong)

Hi,

Recently we launched our Free website. The navigation is done Entierly in flash!
Currenty we are getting 50 k a day and going up strong. This forces users to download flash to view our content and opens a whole lot of new posibilites as far as advertising , interactivity and desing is concerned.

i'm at 2 minutes here and your site hasn't loaded. i'm out of there, a surfer won't stick around longer than 20 seconds.

Flash is virtually useless on adult websites except for cartoon movie content.

I moved my sites to Vacares Hosting. I've saved money, my hair is thicker, lost some weight too! Thanks Sly!

What connection Are you using?? We get 50k a day so far and going up.. i don´t think that its useless at all! And it alows us to have a very integrated navigation and advertising :o)

u know i don't see anything on that page you couldn't do in HTML... what's the freakin point... u could do all that with simple frame tags but why would u really want to? frames just piss off surfers and fuck up your search engine indexing...

as for the cartoon, that could just go into the HTML for exactly the same effect and the surfer wouldn't need to specify screen resolution...

HAve you noticed the flash on this site?? i think it opens alot of oportunities for the interface.. also the screen resolution is there so theat the user sees the optimal pages for their resloution.. we tried to avoid scroling and images too big for the screen.

I completely agree!! thats why the files themselves are tiny the menubar is less then 10k !! they can start navigating straight away... oh and maybe you havent noticed that the site is FREE completely free- so we aren´t selling membership- its a platform for people to advertise and get trafic that will buy membership from them

Looks nice but I would remove the select you screen resolution on the enter page!
IMO most surfers don't know what screen resoluion is
You will be safe with the standard size of 800x600

and my guess would be around 500 k hits today.. will check the stats later

SOO= if what some say is true that with a conversion of 1 every 250 unique ips that would be 200 signups today-- but we are a free site ;)

Why does sending 50k to a site mean that it's not useless. I could build something that takes 20 mins to load on DSL and still send 50k to it.

All it means is that 49,999 get pissed off waiting and went elsewhere to get good porn quickly. The other 1 went for a shit just after clicking and the page had actually loaded when he got back 10 mins later.
