As about Russia, so now it more and more close to the old Europe. It still away from the Netherlands and Germany but it at least moves in that direction.

Yup its funny, USA and talk of freedom, freedom of speech, democracy always go together but damn, its nowhere near these countries, and i really mean nowhere near!
