There really is no reason that they shouldnt be able to pay him for his first month, I mean what kind of first impression is that setting. Anyway if you go two months without payment what then, I think you should start searching for new oppurtunities and not waiting around for this company to screw you again.
Maybe if you had a long history with them it would make sense but if shit is sour in the first month, there isn't much to stick around for is there?
