I think it's been 2-3 times since I've been around and I gather he's also a lurker here and it's the same person because the end result was that once his server was 'slowed down' he redirected it to the same place.

TheHun, you're the one with the open submit form. You're the one who accepts galleries from people you don't know. As the owner of the TGP listing those galleries, it's your job to make sure they're acceptable when you list them and stay acceptable after you list them. Every TGP owner has to do it, and every TGP owner finds it tedious and boring.
I understand img src's used to work great in the past. But everyone knows how to redirect them now, so you do bear part of the burden when they do that.

I think everyone would apply for an account, and then you could reject/remove all the bad ones, and use all the rest. How could that be bad for you? I know it wouldnt stop all the cheating, but it would be a step in that direction.

For The hun : You should post a disclaimer on the main page . Telling that if they redirect / misslead / change pages after submission they will be subject to hotlinking of some images if their site on your main page . You just img scr image files they got 1 per 1 pixel instead of the whole site or something that can be legally worked out ...
Anyways I've had problems before with cheaters and desing stealers from russia and I had to img scr them . I had to get other big sites to do it with me because i was nowhere was big as the hun (i had about 450-500k on my best days) . DDoS = Distributed Denial of Service (from many comps/networks - particulary nasty and very hard to stop)
