You planned your big launch over a long holiday weekend? No wonder you can't get in touch with him, not everybody lives online 24/7. People do go on vacation.

Did you ever log in to the admin and set your username and password for the admin section? Is your AWW in a .htaccess protected members area?

I assume you have the source, so I'd pay someone else to fix it in the meantime... and devote a fair amount of time to tracking the other dude down and giving him a good sorting out.

1) its no program i release... its just a paysite that i can launch whenever i want since i am mainly the one promoting it...
i got decent sources of traffic and the 1st was the limit i set myself because of the server and stuff.... doesnt really matter when it happens as i just have to switch all the links which takes 2 min. (thank god for clever scripts)

2) i dont think he went on vacation because of this

Hi Trax, it's not an apache auth problem (.htaccess/.htpasswd) this is a built in one that they've got in the script. So somewhere they've got the passwords encrypted, possibily in a DB or elsewhere, I'm really not sure.
The .htaccess file in the directory is not there any more. If you were to put another page in that dir you'd see you can browse to it. I'm sorry I can't be of more help, I'm not too familiar with aww. :/



so i am not 100% sure if it is still possible what you say as i am no big programmer
if anyone with the right knowledge knows if it is still possible or would take a look at it to check if something can be done i would appreciate that
i would surely pay for it, too

the processor protected the whole members.domain.com which includes the aww admin dir
i am sure it has something to do with that
but again: above is what my server admin replyed...

OK, your login has to be in the .htpasswd file where the AWW is located. I can help you (I think) with the login, but I don't know if I want to do it on a public board, as I would have to give you the exact file to look for. Email? ICQ?

get new cms installed, there was one addvertised on this board the other day that had member area software as well as cascading billing and affiliate software as well...

Your site kicks ass and will convert like no other site of your type and the member area is good as well, you need to get traffic to it asap.

a.1. I'm telling you again, if I'm not online - please contact [email protected] since I have hired some people to help in such cases. I have checked the [email protected] and found no any messages from you there.
a.2.Your issue is simple - as soon as your new billing has set up the .htaccess protection, AdultWebware bulletproof-admin protection was activated, since you was loggin in in the admin panel with wrong login/password (which was unknown for the Adult-Engine).
a.3.To find the way out of this maze you could look into the AW Online Help Center which is still based by the url I've sent to you from the beginning:

a.4.If you do not have time looking through the huge manual to our huge software product, the path is simple --> Admin Panel (on the left) --> Admin-panel Security

b) you are welcome to find any other Paysite Automation utility if you would like to. Even if you would find a Paysite Automation system which is better than AdultWebware's one, I will send you a check on $100 to your mailing address (please specify one) or via PayPal.
