Hi Trax, it's not an apache auth problem (.htaccess/.htpasswd) this is a built in one that they've got in the script. So somewhere they've got the passwords encrypted, possibily in a DB or elsewhere, I'm really not sure.
The .htaccess file in the directory is not there any more. If you were to put another page in that dir you'd see you can browse to it. I'm sorry I can't be of more help, I'm not too familiar with aww. :/
so i am not 100% sure if it is still possible what you say as i am no big programmer
if anyone with the right knowledge knows if it is still possible or would take a look at it to check if something can be done i would appreciate that
i would surely pay for it, too
