Being that I found my kids after they were kidnapped by thier mom at a very young age only a few years ago I have mixed emotions about this.

Do not try to be everything the other person wants you to be. Be yourself. Also speak whats on your mind instead of hiding things.

I didn't do the above with my kids instead I tried to make up for all the years I wasn't there.

That lasted only 6 months .. both my kids have left after that. I just spent another set of holidays wondering where they were.

It's been a hard lesson for me to learn. Hopefully this will help you in your meeting.

13 years I wondered where they were now again I am doing the same thing... Hoping they are eating right, hoping they can care for themselves, and hoping they always have safe warm beds to sleep in.

When you meet him make sure you are open and honest with him and don't try to make him feel he has to be someone he's not.
