From what I have seen in my 2 short years in the biz about half the industry is scammers and clowns. These are guys who probably don't have the balls to rob banks so they found a safer but equivalent activity.
The other half are very talented people who could probably suceed in any honest business.
The first half does hurt the second, because of the common idea among the public that all porn sites are scams, tougher laws and visa headaches, etc.
But I think its like pissing upwind to complain or bitch about it, scams have been around long before the net and ain't going away with this easy money.
I do wonder if there are that many retard surfers that go for that shit though. I mean the Paris Hilton spam I get insists its all free and I can just fax my birth certifcate over and get access 30 days later, or get it instantly for a fee, ok, right...
I guess if people actually believe that, its a good thing they are being fleeced in a way, wouldn't last long anyway.
But on my own 3 sites I like to keep an ethical firewall and won't link or be linked to any scams, I do think it hurts my credibility with the cream of the paying public and won't promote them regardless of the payback, personally.I have no signatureComment
