    States Ask For 'Volunteer' Taxes

"(AP) State lawmakers across the nation have come up with an unusual alternative to raising taxes for their cash-strapped states: "Tax Me More" funds that rely on donations from taxpayers."

I bet you anything they'll get a shitload. With all the patriotism rampant now, people want to do their part too. In fact, it wouldn't surprise me if people gave more voluntarily than they are forced to involuntarily. Quite ingenious.

Would me paying my regular taxes be considered a donation?

More importantly, would it be tax-deductable?

Hey, I got one for 'em, how about the new 'No T&E budget' plan for politicians. That will cut out all the unecassary trips and $500 dinners that all the politicians are allowed.

Ooooh, how about a '1000 sheet Scott tissue for the government bathrooms' plan. Instead of that cushy $4 a roll brand they get the paper thin 50c a roll brand in every stall.

How about this one, 'The no government excess plan' which would be the one that makes too much sense so it will never happen.

These bastards better hope I never get any kind of power to raise some shit politically.
I've trusted my sites to them for over a decade...

                  Webair, bitches.

You're a lot closer the mark than the lawmakers.

How about the "We stop mismanaging your trillions of tax dollars so we don't have to keep taking more from you" plan?
