In the resulting chaos have WMD slipped into terrorist hands? how many weapons dumps did we see being detonated? There were a few.. all left unguarded.. What of the troops supposedly in control of WMD? In charge of a valuable commodity after the collapse of the regime they've got a gold mine in their hands they can sell to the highest bidder. What of the "terrorists" local and imported for the war able to salvage WMD for later use? - do you think we're in a better position in terms of WMD threat now than before the war?
Don't forget that although there are cheering crowds on tv, there were also massive crowds hunting for downed pilots along the bank of the tigris river, and radical suicide bombers.. there are still several million people that aren't happy.
Maybe we have flushed a bunch of WMD into terrorist hands at once instead of a slow trickle over a period of time.
