Maybe offer just a standard thumb for the pool and if anybody wants unique stuff- they can buy custom thumbs from you separately.

I'm doing gallery descriptions at the moment. I use from 3 to 5 words most of the time. It's probably the most boring thing I can imagine. I've done almost 3000 and I have another 10k or so left...80% Revshare or 30$ PPS on $1 trials: 200 Niches = Vidz.com Galleries / FLVs / Embeds

Some TGP`s have minimum text at 40 BUT other TGP`s have maximum at 50 so it´s hard.... Do description at 45 and it will be good.

I think 40-50 characters is the right range for the text
About thumbs 88x88 sounds good, it doesnt cover every tgp but it is ok
