Eletronic voting = Bush wins.

There will be no more missing ballot boxes, hanging chads, recounts or too-close elections.

Considering the situation with the developers of the software & the fact that it is not open source, with technical committees (computer geeks) from all sides able to evaluate the system - then there is no democracy.

When the software company that makes the voting software goes balistic when even a operation manuals get published, let alone opt'ing for a open source voting system AND they are strong supporters of one candidate - then its going to be rigged. Period.

Why shouldn't our voting system be open source?

Well over half of the internet is ran by open source software (the secure half I might add -- as MS products get you owned.)

And I guarantee that if the voting platform was open source, every coder in the world is going to come out of the woodwork to audit it & make suggestions to make it more secure.

Hell, the people should be explained the above and allowed to vote (the old way) on what type of voting system they would like -- open source, or private voting systems created and maintained by republicans.

If it were democrats that were creating the voting system like this the republicans would be having a shit fit.

But no... can't have that. That will fuck up the master plan.
