hehe interesting thread.. A few things I've pulled from it.. Yes, if you're a geek from the oldschool, you have a HUGE advantage in this industry, for many reasons.

My drive has been down a lot lately, it comes and goes.. I think one of the forked-tongues of being an adult webmaster is that we think in dollars only, when the true creative minds of other industries keep their passion focused on the business.. The money just comes. It's hard to do that in this industry it seems.

I'm still just a kid, but I think there's a few good examples of what can be done in a short amount of time from a 0 connection start in adult. It's possible still people

On a different note, its all about goals and shit. Once you have made your goals usually you begin to fuck around, thats why you have to set them high, real high.

When I first started out in business I was like "fuck I can trust people." Now its like "fuck I aint telling you shit fuck you. You want to push something, is it legal? If so fuck just tell me conversion rates and im there.

I think another aspect that makes us a valuable demographic is that while all these current "old school" people were making good money from porn, we were the actual surfers, the teens that were like 15 to 18.. From there we figured out what he want and what we didnt like, like i said before, the old dogs just keep barking, afraid to change what was working for them, where as we are starting fresh and know what we (and the surfer) want.
