    Flat Screen Tv Info?

    I'm lookin to buy a nice 40 to 50" flat screen tv
    was lookin at a hitachi (i believe) with DLP
    gave me a price of $2999

    where can i get some good info and recommendations on what to look for and whats the best for the $$
