Traffic trades are mostly a waste of time

Why spend your time arranging trades of unconvertible Indian traffic for useless non-targeted, blind click, robot generated robot traffic? And then waste more time arranging and monitoring these trades? Only the small amount of traffic that is 1) interested in what you have on your galleries and 2) has access to any methods of payment methods is of value.

So do you waste your time on ANYTHING to do with trading traffic? Reading this entire section of GFY is a waste of time at the end of the day. Purchase quality traffic. Common sense says if you do not pay it is not worth anything. There is no such thing as a free lunch. You do not see big players posting here to trade traffic do you?

http://www.sex.com sells it by click and by country, While I would like you to purchase it from us ? anything is better than wasting your time on traffic trades. Step up your game and buy traffic.

Gary, I was very happy to hear that you got your domain back. Congratulations, even if a bit late. I hope you ice that fucker good.

(Why) do you waste your time on ANYTHING to do with trading traffic?
I agree that most trades are worthless, especially lately, especially "productivity" ranking schemes. Seems things got much worse about a year ago. Close rate was way down, took me a while to fix that with new ranking criteria.

That said, I make more money on my trades than I do with my top se rankings. I don't want to put all my eggs in one basket, so I won't give up the seo, but trades rule.

Purchase quality traffic.... I would like you to purchase it from us...
this, I assume, is your motivation for trashing trades.

yes, traffic trades are horrible, but bought traffic is WORSE. WHy? because it's mostly popunders or generated from trade scripts in tgp's owned by the traffic brokers. Why spend money on traffic when you could GENERATE your OWN? Do some research and use galleries and pic posts to your advantage to send traffic to a hub. Unless you've been around the tgp biz for awhile, your tgp's are worthless to yourself and gallery posters. Scripted traffic trades are fucking useless. Do clean text links. Surfers stay longer, enjoy more porn, and you get more banner exposure. If they still don't feel like paying after they've gone thorugh a good amount of galleries, they'll click a link in your "friends" list and let them deal with the freeloader. This way here you don't need to worry about "I sent him more hits then he gave me" bullshit. Sending him more hits than you got from a text link trade just means you spared yourself another freeloader.

That way you can set up a link trade and never have to worry about it again. Who cares if he only sent you two hits and you gave him 500. You got rid off 500 people who refuse to pay eating up bandwidth.

traffic trade scripts were designed for one fucking purpose. To make coders money. There was no scripts in the begining and everyone did fine. Now that some dolt comes along with a traffic script and everyone THINKS they NEED one it's to the point where almost all tgp's are using them and getting nowhere fast. Not to mention productivity sucks ass on scripted sites.

It seems to me, that webmasters which cannot convert their traffic sell this traffic for a more money that they can earn from. If it's not true tell me why you selling it?

Buying of traffic is good only to start a new site and to get some traffic for begin...

Only place that can be good to buy targetted traffic is search engine as is google etc.

Wimpy - thanks for the support. The bad guy - Stephen Michael Cohen is STILL a fugative and no where to be found - http://downloads.sex.com/corporate/l...nwarrant01.pdf If anyone knows where he is, send me an email and will make it worth your while!

With respect to purchased traffic, it depends on the price / results ratio. To toot our own horn, our listings are auction based so there is a market price.

I would try purchasing traffic from several sources and compare the results.

back in the old days sex.com ruled because of the type in value. Now that newer browsers send the "keyword" to their own se, how has this effected sex.com type in value?

I'm sure a % of surfers type in the entire http....

Is your traffic still all type in?

somewhat true, but I think a trade script has some value anyway. The most important thing they do is automate the detection and removal of dead accounts. Automation of anything that takes my time has value to me. Buildiing a system to do that is not efficient given that TM3, etc, only cost about $400. Also, the productivity reports are always fun to look at, even if only to see who's a really really good cheater.

Our traffic is composed of type-in to http://www.sex.com, http://www.sex.net and other related domains as well as XML feeds from over 50 other PPC search engines for their adult results. So for example when you type in an adult term on http://www.abcSearch.com, the listings are likely ours. Then we sort the traffic by country and price.

How about someone do a test? Purchase for exitcoin, http://www.sex.com, choker, and all the other blink clicks. Send it to standard US pay sites and international sites. See which gives you the most bang for your buck.

Again, what is the point of forced, blind click Iran traffic. It will not convert!

Exchanging links is a good way to get started but I would have to agree with you that it's a waste of time in the end.
