I think 1:1000 is not a bad conversion ratio, seems average. Different types of traffic convert at different ratios, but overall in general 1:1000 is to be expected.
Lower conversions from SE traffic (1:250), and higher conversions from shit traffic like Exits and TGPs (1:2000).
