The gears were turning today on my long drive this morning. I thought of a pretty good way to possibly make more money while turning your branded site into more of a commodity.

BMX XXX, I've never played it, but I've heard you have to be 18 to buy it because they have nude strip shows hidden in the game. If this is the case, and they're going to release more games with content for adults, why not contact some of these game developers, offer up some softcore content, and throw up some sort of integration with the console and the net?

I'm sure by the time Xbox2 and ps3 come out, this will not be an issue at all, I mean right now one could go online to play games with others.

You could give a free trial password after they beat some level in the game, giving the player/surfer motivation to buy/play the game, as well as drive more customers and publicity to your sites.

I'm not in a position to do anything with this idea at this point, so I'm offering it up, for free, here and now. I don't know if this is a good way to make money right now, but in the near future, it may very well be another step for the adult industry. You never know, and it's probably a good idea to get started on it now. All I ask is to remember who suggested it, you know, just in case.

yah, my 12 year old cousin walked into the mall & bought that game without any parent or guardian around.

and they say we (pornographers) are irresponsible... sheeesh

Funny thing is I thought something similar yesterday, while playing Fallout (post-apocalyptic rpg from BlackIsle in which you can also go to hookers and stuff).

Uhm, yeah... Do you realize that "cheat codes" come out within hours of the game being sold in stores?

Kids will buy the game get the cheat code which 1000 times easier to obtain than a password to a paysite, and then "unlock" all the secrets, and have a field day jerkin' it to your content.

Why not just package games and instead of a game just say free porn passwords and hand them out to any 12 year old with a little bit of cash?

Softcore has nothing to do with it. The majority of people that play these games are kids. Period.

That is not correct. The average age of gamers is somewhere between 21 and 28.

Interesting. Then why are most of the commercials for them on during cartoons? That page lists 3 different sources, with 3 different answers, and did you even read the disclaimer the author put? Sure, I have friends that are 30 that play video games, but, I've also got a 10 year old son and his 30 friends that really play video games... hence, why I said 'most'.

You can base your decisions on web pages that support your beliefs, I'll base my decisions on real life experience.

The only good thing about this game is the full-frontal chic nudity. But seriously who would spend $60 bucks on a game that sucks. If some one wants to buy this game only for the nudity just tell them it would be a lot easier to go on the internet and download porn.(It would be a lot better to look at to.) I hate the camera angles and everything about it. I recommened this game for fags!

That is just fucking retarded. You think I have no real life experience with video games? The fact that I have owned every system made in the last 5 years doesn't say anything huh? The fact that I used to play all the time in the network shops that have computer, xbox, and PS2's all networked and that most people there were over 18. Also the fact that the company that put out BMX XXX did so based on the FACT that there are more adult gamers than ever before. Yea, they dropped a few million on a game that is banned from most places because they wanted to lose money. 3 Different sources, the lowest figure came from 2 years ago and the other 2 are pretty damn close. Just because kids play doesn't mean anything. The kids that were playing 15 years ago still play as adults and that's why the number is shifting higher and higher. I knew that you were wrong when you posted it and just grabbed the first listing in yahoo for average gamer age.

Did I say that you have no real life experience with video games? The fact that you still play video games as an adult has no bearing on anything. Like I asked in my previous post, did you even read the disclaimer that the author of that page added? Do you know anything about averages and mathematics? All it would take is one fucking senior citizens group that are avid gamers to raise the average.
