Perhaps I am missing seomthing here - to me it sounds like he did pretty good.

First of all 5000 clickthrus from 70k hits is 7% CTR - which is really high so there is no way you qualified them - that explains your ratio.

But look at your sales to uniques ratio - 4 : 70,000 = 1 :17,500

1:17,500 is above average.

70k x 200kb max = 14gigs =$14 in b/w

$128 - $14 = $114 profit

So you are saying 70k x 200kb... do you think each visitor takes only 200kb? The gallery alone can take 100kb, each image may take 50k-100k ...

Yes I am. 200kb is actually a high amount for a pic gallery.

The average for a movie gallery with 300kb movies is only 500kb per visitor.

1. $128 from 5k hits is 2.5 cents per click (probably raw click) so it's ok for tgp traffic. some may recurr adding more.

2. 70k pageviews with 5k hits is a good CTR period. seems that ur design is really ok. // about $1.5 per 1k pageviews is ok as well.

3. 69gigs for 70k pageviews is not ok. that's 1M burnt per visitor, when it should be 3-4 times lower. makes me go hmm about ur experience, esp. after the phrase that 69gigs will cost u a fortune. last time i've checked it was about $20-25 on a quality host.

resume: ur results r normal, nothing serious, except some overburnt bandwidth, but even with this it's still ok.

p.s. yep cumshots r not a 'special thing' anymore.

Thats a very LOW estimate. With a middle page listing your looking at 30 gigs easy. I even managed to burn 40 gigs on a low listing once, and it was just a 26 second gallery "28.8 averaged" with images being 30k.

Let us just see darn gallery. Yes it could be your sponsor's fault but it could very well be your own fault so let's see the gallery. Let's see what you said to pull your click-thrus what you say to pull clicks could make a huge diff in conversion. Normally, from a free spot 4 full-month sign-ups on the first day is pretty plenty anyways. Also, as someone already told you cumshot is not a less known niche silly

I got listed on the hun once all it did was eat up a ton of bandwidth and not one sign up. I have a real respect for you guys who make money off of TGP because we post on some them and it doesnt bring shit.

Tuga - yes gallery with thumbs can take ~100kb of course, but if u have 20 pics each 30-40k total usage will be around 200kb.
About 10-12% of pics an average surfer is checking out. Can vary.

adamneve - doing 1:170 on hun means nothing. doing $1k from one listing means good marketing.

lil2rich4u2 - 26 gigs sound ok for me

gothweb - no offense, but 2001 was a bit different

I think the default cookie is a few months. You could get more signups from bookmarkers... though with that number of sales, I wouldn't bet on it.
