Anyone using Godady registrar ??

Please consider this message as official notification that the contact information provided for your domain name registration for MYDOMAIN.COM appears to be invalid, or incomplete. Please update the information within 5 days as per Section 3 of the Registration Agreement, which you agreed to at the time you registered your domain name. For your convenience, we have attached a copy of the current contact information listed for your domain name. If the update has not been accomplished within 5 days, this can be grounds for cancellation of your domain name registration as per Section 6 of the Registration Agreement. So what i have to stop working with them and give my domains right to another registrar service who dont FORCE people put their real info on domain whois page !!
Can someone help me where to complaint of this service forcing people to do this..

Pls help me...

Actually you have to provide a correct information. If you don't, they are free to shut your account down.

yep, it's a law that can put you in jail, actually.

HOWEVER, godaddy does have an anonymous registration service of sorts. it still protects your whois information from the rest of the world. it apparently works quite well, i don't use it, but i've read all about it.

but, i'd rather have an idiot give me a call than spend a couple years in jail because of a phone # on a whois.

Someone trying to reach you through whois or someone trying to get one of your domains probably filed a complaint hoping your names would be deleted. Just fix the info or if it's correct call Godaddy to get it sorted out.

i justed change put real info but pls help me
i dont wanna work with them anymore..
so how to change rights to domain to move to another registrar service ??

why not just use their anonymous domain service?

i didn't look... are you in the US? if you are i really wouldn't condone what you want to do, for the sake of illegality and all. i think the penalty is up to 5 years in jail, last i heard

anyways, make the request to transfer from the new registrar, they send mail and stuff over to the old one, and you probably get yourself an email from it. it gets authorized through the old registrar and sent over.

their anonymous service is NOT free ..you have to pay for it

an i am not in US and i have nothing illegal no shit on my page..

just one of the looser , dickhead post my site to another board
and asking that
my productivity is so low in my tgp .so am i cheater and blablabla
and another dickhead post my whois and complain it is fake..
And another looser give the link how to repost fake whois...

so this is the story ..by the way i get enough about JEaLOUS loosers around

if you're not in the US don't worry about it then. the only registrars i've used has been godaddy and tucows.

yeah, i know the service isn't free, but it's the only way to fly with godaddy.

not sure how this works around, but this may be the case with most US-based registrars. but i haven't checked with any foreign-based registrars...

Thank you for updating the domain. Just to clarify:

Accurate contact information is an ICANN rule, not a Go Daddy rule. If there is a third party inquiry on a domain name, the person needs to contact the registrant of the domain name. If the contact information is invalid it is the registrar?s responsibility to get the information updated since the registrar cannot get involved in any disputes regarding the name.

Since this is an ICANN rule, we have a sister company called Domains By Proxy, domainsbyproxy.com, whereby the registrant can keep his or her information private but still abide by ICANN regulations.
