Anyone know how to get a full refund on a plane ticket?

I want to cancel a flight and Air Canada's policy is that there are no refunds.

Maybe one of the ball busters here knows some rule or sneaky way for me to get a refund. Seems ridiculous that I could cancel my ticket a few weeks before the day, they sell my seat to someone else and make double the money and I get nothing.

No one will refund a ticket nowadays that I'm aware of, but you should be able to get it credit for future flights within the next year.

These days alot of tickets are sold as "non-refundable", I'd say your best bet is to try to get credit for some future flight. But alot of tickets are also sold as "non-changeable" and "non-transferable" too. So you might be fucked going that route also.
I post on GFY so that when people ask me what I do,
I can tell them that I work with the mentally retarded.

          That would be pretty sweet.

Bastards, I dont mind paying a small cancellation fee but I dont want to lose all that money for nothing.
