Btw for anyone who doesnt know, blu (now deedal) is the russian luclonely.

I may be mistaking, but Buran is launched using mostly carrier's engines which are desrtoyed with a carrier, when Shuttle uses mostly it's own engines and a carrier is more a fuel container and because of that a launch is much cheaper.
