Every night, I go through the same thing. I can stay up for 16 hours no problem everyday but when it comes down to going down, it's just not possible.
The only two things that make me fall a-sleep are either eating or taking xanax or valium all of which I'm not too fond of.
Suggestions besides "rubbing on off"? Which I know is going to be the first response.
P.S. - quiet, I took up your idea but I'm running out of books and it's not helping much.
