nuke iraq?

Would you support nuking Baghdad?

I know that this is a pretty harsh thing to suggest, but I'm curious, I just read somewhere that we have about 12000 nuclear weapons. Would any AMERICANS on this board really mind if we just nuked baghdad and ended this whole thing. It would save a lot of money and lives of our young soldiers and certainly show that we mean it when we say we will pre-empt.

Yeah 75 billion is an awfull lot of money and that probably won't be enough either. We should be concentrating on protecting the people inside our own country and spending less time worrying about international affairs when it has such a ridiculous price tag.

If Bush really thinks IRAQ is a threat to our internal security, then I trust him to make the decision to take pre-emptive action. Keep it cheap and fucking nuke them....we're showing way too much restraint. We're spending a shitload of money playing nice and they're killing our troops out there. 9/11 showed us the dangers of not being pre-emptive, so let's win this and move on to the next asshole that wants to support terrorists.

International affairs should be delt with on an as needed basis. I believe IRAQ applies and should be delt with much more harshly than we have. I'm sick of all this PC shit....it's not about "saving the iraqi people", it's about minimizing the threat of terrorist acts.

Please prove to me that the US knew of it before it happened. And even if you can, it wouldn't make a difference as to my support of US policy. No one told me on 9/11 that I was gonna turn on my TV and watch 3000 international citizens brutally killed on live television....

After 60 years of mostly peace and prosperity and suffering from yet another cowardly attack, I feel that we have no choice but to flex our arm and put terrorists in their place for the good of the rest of the world. Once all terrorist states have been eliminated, then we can get back to being nice guys and enjoy another 60 years of moderate peace.

I am not saying that we should nuke everybody though it's not an option I would rule out....I threw the idea out in the open mostly to get a glimpse of what the american support would be if we did such a thing.

I agree that is a bit high, but as a business owner, I pay out the ass for health insurance. When business is slow, that is a hard some to come up with every month.
