    How to read ccBill stats?

    Here is what they say:

Trial - Amount and count of the subscriptions that are trials.

Single - Amount and count of the single billing subscriptions or non-recurring subscriptions.

Recurring - Amount and count of the recurring billing subscriptions.

Rebill - Amount and count of the subscriptions that have rebilled.

So what is the difference between recurring and rebill? If a person recurs are theyy then a rebill?

Example from CCF that is still getting rebills:

    Trial 34
    Single 1
    Recurring 19
    Rebill 46

19 people recurred and then moved to rebill where they got dinged for a total of 46 times?

    Thanks

recurring is when they buy a full membership

rebill is when they rebill from a pass recurring or trial.

depends on what kinda site ur promoting,i never ran into single
but i would believe its a 1 time charge with no rebill. ask your affiliate sponsor for more info.

single is the first and only billing of a subscription that is not going to rebill in the future

$59.95 for 6 months (no rebilling), for instance

in the future, if you have these types of questions, please do not hesitate to contact [email protected]

                Corvett-

In yesterday's thread describing the tools in the CCBill Admin to enable shaving of affiliate commissions by sponsors (http://www.gofuckyourself.com/showth...hreadid=211755), you never responded to affiliate concerns.

When can affiliates expect to be able to see which of our sponsors are using CCBill tools to shave our commissions?
<--- I have never worked with this program.

"Soon" is very vague. What does that mean? A week? A month? A year?

Given that you guys turned around major modifications to the affiliate stats pages in just a few days last week, when can we expect to see this info? It should not be that difficult to provide affiliates with read access to this information.

Give us an actual time estimate. "Soon" does not indicate any sort of commitment on CCBill's part at all.

                      Hmmm...

1 hour later and still no response from Corvett/CCBill/CaveCreek?

                        Not very encouraging.

                          Corvett-

Any word on a time estimate for making this info (about which sponsors are using CCBill-provided tools to shave payments to affiliates) visible to CCBill affiliates in the affiliate admin?

It's been over a week now.

Dude you're running this in the ground. It doesn't fucking matter if they put it up today and build a custom version just for you, if a sponsor wants to shave you they WILL find a way. And you won't know. Promote who you trust, or start your own program if this is keeping you up at nights!

What's irritating is knowing that part of the money from the "CCBill Processing Fee" that gets deducted from my checks is going to help fund the development of shaving tools for sponsors.

(picked up my checks today )

I know sponsors shave. That's just part of the business. I don't trust ANY sponsor.

But there should be some level of effort required for them to shave - CCBill has made it far too easy for the typical sponsor to shave on a MASSIVE scale. Making this info available would level the playing field somewhat.

I have personally already moved part of my traffic to non-CCBill sponsors.

And yes, I am thinking seriously for the first time about starting my own program - the only thing holding me back right now is concern about obscenity laws. I was actually surprised at how easy it is to start up a pay site! So maybe it's inevitable - I'm making decent money referring traffic, but maybe the only way to go to the next level is to open my own pay site.
