Pirated downloads have been avaible since the beginning of computers. Lately since the boom of the p2p networks pirated software has become easier to download and find for the mainstream surfer market. Many will download illegal software/music and not think twice about how they are affecting sales. It has become part of internet culture to share illegal downloads.
I feel this kind of mentality has rubbed off onto other internet markets including porn. Most people feel they should never have to pay for anything they recieve over a computer because they have learned that their is little to no chance it will haunt them in the future.
With the boom of Tgps although doing nothing illegal help to go in line with the thought that everything is free on the internet. After the mainsteam affect of p2p more and more people seem to realize this notion.
I think their is a direct relation between p2p and porn affecting ratios and signups.
