Damn, that's got me stumped too! Seems to be using some good ass cloaks too and they have disabled caching which makes figuring out their strategy hard as hell to figure out. Not to mention 0 backlinks and pr of 0!

Cloaking is when you make a page that your server sends ONLY to google. Every other surfer sees a different page then google. That's cloaking. Easy to do, and even easier to get your domain blacklisted on google and domains that link to you get a lower PR rating.

Hmm... I got a site that I mess with as a running experiment, and I've been running cloaked pages for a long time on it without a problem, they've all got PR 0 or 1, but there's thousands on the one domain, but I have yet to get a top listing on a single search word.
Did this guy hit single word searches? Do you have any search page results with his pages on 'em?

Yeah, I've been working on figuring out his link structure for the past 2 hours or so. Pretty good to say the least, I've got most of it down and trying to iron out the details. If you want to see his real gateway pages, you'll need to write a script to change your UA to be GoogleBot. His cloaking agent works by useragent only and not based on IP address so based from that reverse engineering his link structure shouldn't take too long if you want it. There is some room for improvement but this guy sure helped me figure out a few things on how Google's typographical casing works.

his one mistake is over-doing it so that he got noticed.

i have seen a similar page liek this before.

al red,

had all names in the bottom with simmilar html files.

but he used .com domains and fake urls of mayor tgp's to get se hits instead of keywords

he used domains like thehun-xxx.com (<-- only an example, dont know the real domains he used)

but i have seen that one more then 2 years back allready

maybe the same guy?

heh well here's my free version which took 5 minutes.. so fwiw..

frontpage of each site has: 19 links to other sites he owns
and ~499 links that go deeper to the root domain

On these ~500 pages he has links to 50/500 (so basically google goes to page follows 50links, finds a page with 50 more links etc)
and 19 links to other sites he owns.

One thing that I don't quite understand is how he got these pages crawled so quickly.. Maybe he has a high PR site that gets regularly crawling and fed it links into his matrix.

There was a chinese-american guy doing something similar a few months back - even using the same sponsor.

he stayed on top of Google for a couple of months before they caught him and wiped him out of their listing.

pity anyone who buys the domain names this guy is using. Once he's caught he'll let them expire and regardless of who buys them Google will leave them in outer darkness for ever
