ive noticed a ton of more air activity here as well.
i live relatively near an airport though but have noticed what seems to be 'louder' and 'heavier' sounding planes, i can 'feel' them more as they pass over my area more than usual... not sure though, i dont bother to run outside and look.

I have skylights in the kitchen ceiling, and looked up one day to see a HUGE (what looked to be a cargo-type military jet) passing overhead at a very low altitude. Scared the fuck outta me, cause it was so low, it looked like it was on it's way to crashing into the house down the block. But, apparently it made it to the airport.

In Fort Worth I lived about 2 miles from Carswell, but I was directly under their flight path.
Now in Vegas I live about 1/8 of a mile from Nellis and even though I'm not directly under their flight path it's loud as fucking hell on more than a few occassions each day.
