RealNetworks Sues Microsoft Over Media Player

I'm surprised no one else mentioned this.....

I'm a little bit confused. Is M$ expected to make a bare bones operating system with no software on it? An operating system without a browser, email, media player, and MS Word is worthless. It's like selling a car with no tires.

Does this mean the makers of Wordperfect has the right to sue now also?

I recently purchased a car with Firestone tires. I didn't have a choice in this matter. Does this mean Ford can sued by Goodyear for unfair business practices, since I wasn't offered the option of buying Goodyear tires? Of course not.

I think the entire process for Intellectual Property and Patents related to the Net needs special attention and major revisions or we'll end up with a fragmented and confused online structure where you won't be able to function without paying someone for every aspect of the process.

I can't wait until Acacia sues both of these companies and puts an end to the infringement these assholes have been getting away with for years.
