    so what happens to POW while the war is on?

    and after? are they usually released or kept in some kind of isolation forever?

    Released. The previous "Coalition" prisonners of the Gulf War were released. One was interviewd yesterday on the news.

        these won't be released They have no reason to be diplomatic once they see their government is finished...We'll have to find them and get them OR they'll be killed

            so only the ones who can be 're-realeased into the wild and behave' will be the ones who go home and the radicals will be crushed?

                  I'm not digging for a link but American Gulf War POW's were released except for that Riker guy. They have no clue where he is or if he is still alive.
