I have worked for many different restaurants all the way up to five star steak houses and there is nothing like kissing someones ass, being at their beckon call and having them stiff you. If you don't like to tip, no problem. Just dine at places where it is not a standard and enjoy your happy meal. If you all will shove a $5 bill down the g-string of some bimbo who shakes her tits in your face for 10 seconds, then it shouldn't be too much to ask to tip someone who spends 1-2 hours waiting on you hand and foot.
