Need to hire someone, how much should i pay??

Ok I need to hire someone part-time to:

- Take a list of hosted galleries.
- Make a description for each one.
- Link them correctly.
- I need about 2000 gals done like this.

I was thinking this would take about 4 - 5 hrs.

How much should I pay for a something like this?

And is anyone interested?

4-5 hours? That's 400-500 an hour, or 7-8 per minute. I think less than 10 seconds is a bit little for looking at a gallery, writing a description, and linking it up.

Doesnt have to check if it works. I think you can do this even faster after a while.

write a description and and a link for 2,000 galleries - and you figure this is a 4.5 hour job, which is 270 minutes. So you figure somebody should be able to do about 8 of these per minute.

the job is at least twice as many hours as you have planned for.
unless you are providing the gallery descriptions and all the person has to do is copy n paste.

I moved my sites to Vacares Hosting. I've saved money, my hair is thicker, lost some weight too! Thanks Sly!

I can tell you from experience that doing one short sentence per gallery roughly takes three hours with about 200 links. This includes waiting for the gallery to load completely, briefly sizing up the pictures quickly & typing a precise decription.

I agree, 4-5 hours is extremely unrealistic.

Even if the person is creative enough to think up the gallery descriptions as they type, you've still got to figure 30 seconds per gallery minimum.

This job would take many days for most people.

Well like everyone already said, 4-5 hours is not enough time.
It takes 6.66 seconds for you to click the next link and look at the theme of the pics while it loads. And you still have a description to write. Close the link, type the descrip. That's gonna take a while.
