That is the most undamaged aircraft i ever seen that was claimed to be shot down. most likely the chip detector light came on, its a sensor that detects metal chips in the transmission, when it comes on, pilots must land immediatly. its better to land with power while you can than risk losing power and being forced to make an auto-rotation.Comment

Well pointless bashing and name calling aside, it's deff a downed Apache. It doesn't appear to have taken any fire, but helicopters are very delicate machines. The "musket loaders" they're carring are of course AK-47's. Those guns fire 7.62mm rounds -- nothing to scoff at. If one bullet hits the right piece it will bring down a chopper.
Based on the fact that it's upright and relatively good condition we can assume something came up and the pilot ditched. Hope they got away on foot before they Iraqi's made it there. You can see it's fired 5 of it's Hellfire missiles and still has three on the racks.
