    best remote admin software for windows?

    Whats the best remote software for windows 98? I need to be able to access my machine from college when I'm there.

    Often times I wonder why

      I used pc anywhere one time it wasnt to bad...

      Theres probley alot better apps out there thats just one I remember... Or I think there is one called vnc thats good

          go to google and search VNC software.

              I personally use Remote Admin http://www.radmin.com, but I'd say that PCAnywhere would be the most popular for windows?

                      A. Nobody should be using Windows 98.
                      B. If you *have* to use Win 98, then the only(meaning the best) thing to use is: http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc/

                          I second that. If you want full control with GUI, that's the one.

                                      thats right - but remember to put the "frame rate" to 25 instead of 100 if you run it over the internet.

                                      Radmin Rocks. It runs as a service, so you can even reboot and login over the internet

                                          For remote control through internet, Radmin is great, for me is faster than VNC and easier to use the clipboard etc. I control my home PC from the office everyday with it, even for icq chat etc.
