I saw a VH1 special that said they use computers so advanced that they can do complex 3d graphics, etc, but they only use them for their simple stuff. That allows them to do a whole episode in a few days.Comment

im brittish and most of my friends find it funny and do get the specific american humour still but i just dont find the swearing/violence etc funny! got fuck all against it and see why other people like it! but me... nope sorry

5 days to complete a regular show is what I heard, but they can add stuff just a few days from airing.
I remember they also had a show done about the Florida voting controversy within a week.
With all that power and economy, it's kinda sad they only make about 15 shows per calender year (broken into 2 "seasons") right now. They have only made a little more than 50 SP episodes since 1997. Surprising.- *** -Comment
