Flash loaded slow here on cable, so that might be a bad part. Also, I don't really see the need for a long flash intro - a fairly simple splash page with a good representation of your content would be better imo.

Best looking content site design I have seen. With the move to semi exclusive or exclusive content too I think you will do very well.

Most content sites look like they have been designed by clueless amateurs and are also an absolute nightmare to navigate. Serious webmasters are busy people and time = $$$. Hard to navigate content sites usually get looked at just once.

That Flash gets annoying, just let it not loop, but add some effects to the image.

1) I don't like nor find the cookie-cutter cross over the picture display any use, and it makes it look bad.

2) "Specialized in" should be horizontal on top of the category listings, not used as a divider.

3) The bottom link bar doesn't work for me for some reason..

4) What are you going to do with all all of that whitespace?

It's STILL loading for me and I've been waiting over 3 minutes.. for those of us who have no choice but slower connections, it's definitely not ideal. I'll tell you what it looks like when it finishes loading, probably sometime in 2004

The top looks nice though!

I think the best is to ask some pro designer (experienced one ) to do that job - I am planning do that too
