Find an old HP brand kb in a used pc shop, probably cost ya 5$ and its deadly quiet and will block a bullet for ya if need be.

All keyboards are super quiet when you buy them, then they get loud.

I prefer the ergonomic ones although I have a standard keyboard at work and use my laptop at home most of the time leaving my precious ergonomic one unused most of the time.

I personally go after the right "touch" rather than the sound. When I go keyboard shopping I have to test the touch on all of them before deciding.

Isn't 'Quiet' going to be more than a little peeved if you take the only real 'Quiet' keyboard?

Marie uses the Logitech cordless keyboard and it's pretty quiet.

Personally I use a Techworks $20.00 cheapie - it starts off quiet but gradually gets louder and when that happens I just ditch it and buy another one.

I was taught to touch-type over 30 years ago on an old Remington typewriter so I tend to beat the stuffing out of a keyboard in a matter of a couple of months.
