If your lady likes jewelry, diamonds are the way to go. I'm easier, though. I like simple stuff like roses or a teddy bear. Maybe a nice day spa treatment would go over well, too.

Because you spend more on them doesn't mean they will appreciate it more. This is the case with my girlfriend.

For her Birthday I took her out to silly places, but places where she wanted to always visit. Then I arranged for all her friends and family to join us for dinner (something she had always wanted to do) without her even knowing. Then I arranged a party for her when she thought all her friends and family where just going home.

I did spend a lot of money on that day but the price was insignificant, coz I planned a whole day of doing things she wanted!
