...saw the San Franciso protesters on TV. A week or so ago I saw the organizer, or at the least one of the organizers, on the Bill O'rielly show and he told O'rielly that he intended to bring the city to a halt. Can anyone explain to me why he, or anyone would think this strategy would help the cause of "peace"? By the way the guy was a retired military COL.

protesting the way they are doing it, is just stupid
they are just causing major problems. sure, we have the right to protest, but there is a right way and a wrong way to do anything.
and it doesnt matter if you protest or not, the government is not going to stop the war over some protestors that cant control themselves. all that will happen is some of them will get arrested, beaten by cops, tear gassed, pepper sprayed, maybe even killed, but the war will go on.
