That's part of the game, it's not a flaw. If you aren't smart enough to know when to "be successful" and when to shut your mouth and lay low, you lose.

LOL........you just made my point for me CD Smith......

"if you aren't smart enough to know when to be successful....."

And as if someone is going to win EVERY immunity challenge. But if you win most, and dominate, you're history. I know what the show is about, CD, and I know its smarter to even throw challenges if you have a good alliance and are seen as a threat.

BUT THATS MY POINT! The show rewards the mediocre. Why do you think we have had so many coattail riders as of late? Or people who couldn't catch fish or light a fire if their lives depended on it. Even Sandra admitted this.

They have another show based on the same premise as Survivor, yet there isn't any dependancy on survival skills and toughness. Its called Big Brother and is played in a house. There its all about human politics and such. Survivor has become just like it......the one that wins the human politics wins. It has nothing to do with surviving on an island, or even bettering your tribemates in competitions anymore, as one cannot win every immunity challenge.

The game is slanted in favor of mediocrity.

Sandra, like it or not, was mediocre in many respects. She could hardly swim, won ZERO challenges, had poor interpersonal skills.

She herself admitted they went after others because there were "bigger fish to fry". She was entertaining and I liked her, but lets be honest, she was a mediocre player.
