    Auto Porn downloader crap

    Anyone have a list of those porndownloader softwares (like http://www.thumbgal.com/index.php )
    ...and what signature they leave so I can deny them access to my server?
    I keep seeing more and more of these fucking things. I want to program my pages so if they detect these progs, they just send out lots of scat pix or something nasty to fill up the hard drives of the users.

          which ones cannot be blocked, and why are they getting so popular anyways? they cant download content from members area's, jsut gallery and freebie stuff, yes..?

              Well if I put a CGI.HTTP_REFERER on my page what will these give?
              Will it just show up as a bookmark?
              I guess I could download a couple of the programs and test it out.

                  Yea, it's the freebee stuff, but when they can hit a button and get a directory full of thousands of freebee pix, they find no need to pay for anything more, the free stuff is enough to pull one off.

                      ah, gotcha... i bet it doesn't affect movie sites too much then, since they'll probably only be getting little tiny vids, compared to the real deal hiding behind .htaccess... fuckers, no more free porn damnit..!

                          Yes, they only work for grabbing content from TGP's and free sites. They are popular because they are a system for surfers to get the pics and movies without the adds.
