in Edmonton, if you start a strip club, you talk with the bikers first. They don't own the club, but they expect you to book their dancers. Most of the strip clubs in Edmonton are owned by Asians. And they have to book their dancers through Independent Entertainment (or Independent Artists) same company, same bikers.....

Too much overhead, and you need a lot of start up cash. Even the most successful owners are hard pressed to take home more than $5K a week net from one establishment. Then depending on where you start up, you have to deal with local zoning laws, public complaints, backfire from local community leaders, and the list goes on.

Think online porn is hard to break into?
