What the fuck? With a country as diverse as the USA, one would suspect that interracial sex is something that happens every 4.7 seconds and shouldn't be considered obscene?

I can understand to a point them wanting to make it obscene to fuck a veggie.. To a POINT, but really. I think they're going way too far.

Although I have seen several things Bush and co. wanted to make obscene I haven't heard of this one yet. I did hear they wanted to make anal sex, both m/m or m/f obscene/illegal and a few other retarded things.

Saying Interracial sex should be illegal is ludicrous... It's racist, too. Besides just about everyone I know, including myself is in an interracial relationship... especially here in LA.

Obscenity laws read that it be determined by community standards, and frankly, I believe that the community standards are becoming very lax nowadays.

I mean take a look at prime time television... 20 years ago half of it would have been considered obsecene. My hope is that by the time these issues are put before the community that most people will be desensitized to porn in general.

I'm not sure I agree with this. There was an ACLU during the Reagan years, and the Meese commission scored several convictions...and not just of big names in the porn industry.
